Spring Must-Have: Overalls!

Overalls are back! That's right, the barnyard classic and childhood favorite has been popping up all over the place from the Ralph Lauren SS10 runway to the backs of style-setters like Alexa Chung. And thankfully, this is one high fashion trend that is as comfortable and practical as it is fashion-forward. Give the look a sexy update by opting for a shorter version, or stick to the classics by wearing an artfully distressed (though no less chic) pair of overalls. If overalls feel too tomboyish for you, then get in on the recent 70s-inspired trend by opting for a more fitted denim jumpsuit. Whatever you choose, we can't think of a better outfit to wile away a sunny spring afternoon than in our old playtime favorite!

* The side braid can be paired with the slicked side hair style for an edgy interpretation
* The fish plait is 2010's take on the simple pony tail
