Paris fashion Week

Paris fashion week brings each season's hectic schedule of fashion shows to a close, capping off a whirl-wind tour of international fashion weeks that starts in New York, moves through London and Milan, and ends in Paris. As with each, PFW occurs twice a year, taking in the autumn (fall) / winter and spring / summer seasons.

Designers are really exited as usual to show there new collection... They're all super busy...

I was at Zuhair Mrad a couple of days ago... they were preparing the "defile".

Everyone want to be in PARIS these days, on the fashion week! 
God, the Fashion World can be soooo interesting!!

Pierre Katra

International awards winner Pierre Katra Haute Couture was founded in Beirut, Lebanon in 1965. Pierre Katra was specialized in Fashion Design in Paris, France and he designed superb gowns for Queens and Princesses of Arabic countries. In 1972, Miss Universe Georgina Rizk of Lebanon was wearing unique designs from Katra’s Collection.

Good News!!

I just checked the blog statistics. Turns out UK, USA, Lebanon(of course), Denmark, United Arab Emirates, Russia, France, Canada, Italy,Iraq, Germany, India and Australia are following the blog. It made me smile :D

H&M AND LANVIN: IT'S CONFIRMED

It's official: H&M is teaming up with Lanvin.

Yesterday the fashion world was abuzz with rumours that H&M had signed up Lanvin for its next designer collaboration. It has been confirmed that the rumours are indeed true. Women's and men's collections hit stores in November.

Just how Lanvin's luxe creations will translate onto the high street remains to be seen but Lanvin's artistic director (and ELLE's hero) Alber Elbaz said, 'I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public. This has been an exceptional exercise, where two companies at opposite poles can work together because we share the same philosophy of bringing joy and beauty to men and women around the world.'

Fashion will know a New Decade!

It's not just a new year, but also a new decade. That means out with the old and in with the new. And for men and women in 2011, there's a lot of new. So what will this new year have for us?

New styles, new influences, and new key looks will dominate the year across all seasons. Trends that we've come to love and know are firmly out and their replacements have been found..

Dentelle is "a la mode..."

This year, the "dentelle" is taking over the fashion...
Personally, i find it quite elegant, combining it with dresses or tops...
